can it survive cold weather ? :
Creeping Indigo grows in sub-tropical climates and CAN BE killed by low temperatures. HOWEVER, the ROOT can survive the Winter unless the freeze surpasses the root's depth. (up to 6ft deep) Therefore, it will sprout again from the still viable root in the Spring in infected areas that's ground freezes do not exceed the root's tip. Creeping Indigo is not believed to be a risk for northern states.
